Robert C. Wolcott is adjunct professor of innovation at the Booth School of Business, University of Chicago and adjunct professor of executive education at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. From 2009-2019, Wolcott served as clinical professor of innovation at Kellogg. Wolcott won Teacher of the Year from Kellogg's EMBA program in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2017. He is cofounder and chair of TWIN Global, a global community of over 3,000 innovation leaders from over thirty countries and across sectors. Wolcott serves as a board member of strategy consultancy for Clareo; coaching platform Abroad; and global nonprofit HCP Cure Blindness. He is an advisory board member of the Open Innovation Lab of Norway and many ventures. He has been a contributor for Forbes on the impact of technology on business, society, and humanity. His first book, Grow From Within: Mastering Corporate Entrepreneurship and Innovation has been published in Chinese and Japanese. Wolcott's work has appeared in publications such as MIT Sloan Management Review, the Harvard Business Review, and the Wall Street Journal. He is an active venture investor in over thirty companies, many of which are leading the Proximity revolution. Wolcott holds a BA in European and Chinese history, as well as his MS and PhD in industrial engineering and management science, from Northwestern University.
