Jennifer Watson, an educator and writer living in Central Texas with her husband, four children, three dogs, and two cats, began educating the community in 2012 when she started working with the Central Texas Poison Center. Seeing the need to reach more people and facing limited funding, she created this book to help educate the public on the dangers of poisons. Having found her true passion in writing, she resigned from the poison center to pursue her writing career. However, the poison center still has a highly qualified educator on staff, and Jennifer is still available for book signings and public presentations.
