Brian Simmons was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and now lives in the Northwest part of the state. He is married and has a son. Brian is a former police officer now working in transportation safety, his expertise in the transportation sector is roadway safety.Brian wrote Jesus Was Here in 1999, inspired to do so while on patrol in the city he served. Brian has written extensively for his current job as a technical writer and script writer (scripting hundreds of corporate videos and the occasional short film).Christmas is always a "big deal" for Brian and his wife, Araceli. He is excited to share Jesus Was Here with others, believing the greatest blessings of the holiday are only realized when we first honor the "reason for the season".
