John Myers was born in Seattle in 1972. Always passionate about the human mind, at the age of 19, he won a scholarship to the prestigious English University of Oxford, where he graduated with honors in psychology. But John's love of study led him to pursue an academic career in the United States with two master's degrees in psychology and counseling. He currently lives in a quiet area just outside of Seattle with his wife, April, and their two children. He works hard every day in his practice and holds seminars throughout the country. Throughout his long career, he has helped thousands of people solve everything, from couple misunderstandings, to eating disorders, to personality disorders. During his free time, he loves to go on long hikes in the nature of Mount Rainer National Park with his faithful companion Bill, a wonderful 3-year-old German shepherd. Through his books, John spreads his in-depth knowledge in a language that everyone can understand. In his pages, you will find the most effective modern psychology techniques in a simple and immediately effective form, which you can apply from day one.
