Shweta Singh is an academic who lives in Chicago.. Her scholarship focus is identity in working women from South Asia. She brings to her writing, her expertise with research, policy, and narrative analysis work. Her commitment is to make South Asian women a reference point for womanhood and showcase their resilience and cheerful spirit in face of dire odds, which does not get represented in popular literature or academic scholarship. She has also published her collection of Hindi/Urdu poetry.
