Philip Bashe is the author or coauthor of eighteen books and has edited many hundreds more. His titles include Teenage Idol, Travelin' Man: The Complete Biography of Rick Nelson, The Complete Cancer Survival Guide, Caring for Your Teenager, Science Lessons, You Don't Have to Die: One Family's Guide to Surviving Childhood Cancer, When Saying No Isn't Enough: How to Keep the Children You Love off Drugs, The Complete Bedside Companion: No-Nonsense Advice on Caring for the Seriously Ill, and Heavy Metal Thunder. A former magazine editor and radio announcer whose work has appeared in the New York Times Book Review, the Buffalo Evening News, Reader's Digest, Parade magazine, Billboard, and other publications, Bashe lives with his wife, author Patty Romanowski Bashe, and son, Justin, in Baldwin, New York.
