A former magazine editor and radio announcer whose work has appeared in the New York Times Book Review, the Buffalo Evening News, Reader's Digest, Parade magazine, Billboard, and other publications, Bashe lives with his wife, author Patty Romanowski Bashe, and son, Justin, in Baldwin, New York.
