C. M. Maggiano was born in Austin, TX. He graduated from Longwood University, VA, with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. While working at the University of Virginia, he began writing and developed the idea for Valkyrie. Together with his father, they created the first novel. Devil's Gambit is the second installment of this series. He now lives in England, where he continues to write.
