The author was born in Citronelle, Alabama, May 14, 1940. The family moved to Jackson, Mississippi in 1948 where he attended Jim Hill high school and Tougaloo College. After an honorable discharge from the military in 1965, he arrived in Denver, Colorado of the same year and was hired by International Business Machines. He retired from the Corporate world as an Accounts Manager in 2002.
