She is a professor of English and creative writing at Lock Haven University. He developed his scratchboard technique while pursuing a master's degree in illustration and a master of fine arts degree in visual communications at Syracuse University. His illustrations and photographs have been published in the United States and abroad. He lives with his family in central Pennsylvania.
