Valerie Wilcox received a master's degree in Education from the University of Oregon and is a former educator and employee development specialist. She currently lives in Vancouver, Washington and when not writing, can often be found walking her two dogs at Ft. Vancouver National Park. She is the author of the well-received mystery novel, Celilo's Shadow.
