Charles Sheppard is Emeritus Professor in the School of Life Sciences, Warwick University, and has worked for a range of UN, Governmental and aid agencies in tropical marine and coastal development issues. He has advised several governments on marine and coastal management and science. Charles is the author of several books including Coral Reefs: a very short introduction (2014) and is the lead co-athor of The Biology of Coral Reefs (2017).
