Linda McDonald is a Librarian Specialist residing in the San Francisco Bay Area and a former radio personality for the nationally syndicated "In The Know" broadcast on the RMG Radio Network. Born in Oakland, California and bred in Berkeley, California, Linda McDonald is the eighth child of a big brood of ten born to two still united loving parents. Her passion for writing was ignited from observing the conflicts, foibles and fun at family gatherings and years of Pentecostal church attendance, which provided generous material for the writing of her first novel, The Perfect Deceptionon. Her hobbies are hiking, skiing and reading books by J. California Cooper, Maya Angelou, Jane Austin, Walter Mosley, and John Grisham. She is currently writing her second Novel, Caring to Kill: The Linda and Vanessa McDonald Story. Linda McDonald's favorite quote is an excerpt from Maya Angelou's book, I Wouldn't Take Nothing for My Journey Now: Each of us has the right and the responsibility to assess the roads which lie ahead, and those over which we have traveled, and if the future road looms ominous or unpromising, and the roads back uninviting, then we need to gather our resolve and carry only the necessary baggage, step off that road into another direction. If the new choice is unpalatable, without embarrassment we must be ready to change that as well
