Biyi Bandele is a Nigerian novelist and playwright.. As well as being involved in journalism, television, theatre, film and radio, he has worked with the Royal Court Theatre and the RSC, and writes radio drama and screenplays. His plays include Rain: Marching for Fausa; Resurrections in the Season of the Longest Drought; Two Horsemen (selected as Best New Play at the 1994 London New Plays Festival); Death Catches the Hunter and Me and the Boys. Brixton Stories is the stage adaptation of his novel The Street (1999).
