Barbara Kyle is the author of the acclaimed Thornleigh Saga historical novels and thrillers including The Experiment. Over half a million copies of her books have been sold in seven countries. A screenwriter as well, Barbara cowrote the screenplay for the feature film Saving Dinah, available on Amazon Prime and Tubi. Her novel The Deadly Trade features animal rights activist Natalie Sinclair as she and her team rescue abandoned and abused animals. The story was inspired by Barbara's husband's work with Animal Alliance of Canada whose mission is "fighting cruelty wherever we find it." Before becoming an author, Barbara enjoyed a twenty-year acting career, playing characters that ranged from Shakespearean heroines on stage to starring roles in daytime TV dramas and characters in Disney made-for-TV movies. Barbara and her husband live in Guelph, Ontario.
