Jessica Mann is a writer of crime and suspense novels. Her first book, A Charitable End, came out in 1973. Since then she has published 21 crime novels, 2 non-fiction books, thousands of articles and book reviews and a book about Godrevy Lighthouse written with her husband, the archaeologist Charles Thomas.
