Lucy Green

Lucy Green researches and teaches at University of Southampton about early development effects on lifelong health. She advocates for physiological sciences with the International Society for the Developmental Origins of Health and Disease, the Physiological Society, as FRSB (2019, Senior Investigator Outreach and Engagement Award) and as Head of Engagement in the Faculty of Medicine. Her championing of public understanding of science included as British Science Association Media Fellow (at BBC), innovating engagement tools for science festivals, and devising health-science experiences for young people which enable them to question experts about big health issues. She lives with her family in Hampshire.
