Linda Reid is a physician and journalist who has written for the Washington Post, the Baltimore Sun, and the Los Angeles Times, as well as a broadcaster and commercial actor on radio and TV. She has co-edited two textbooks on Health Administration with Dr. Louis Rubino, and co-authored three mystery/thrillers and one short story in the award-winning Sammy Greene series, with Dr. Deborah Shlian. As YS Pascal, she wrote the Zygan Emprise Trilogy, winner of a Mensa Sharp Writ Books Award. As Yolanda S Pascal, she authored "High Hopes, Big Dreams" a book for children of all ages. She retired after 35 years of serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the David Geffen School of Medicine, UCLA, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Physicians. Linda and her husband spend their vacations enjoying visits with her children and extended family in Los Angeles, New York City, Washington DC, and Athens, Greece.
