Duncan Cameron, creator and illustrator of Shipwreck Detective, currently lives in Wells, England, with his wife and four small children, teaches at StrodeCollege in Somerset, and has a studio at SpikeIsland
in Bristol. He is a keen scuba diver and has been diving all over the world for sixteen years, including hundreds of dives on shipwrecks - these underwater interests inform much of his sculptural and illustration work. He also maintains comprehensive illustrated journals (much like the entries found in Shipwreck Detective!).
Duncan enjoys the equally adventurous hobby of caving and is an avid runner. He completed the 2004 London Marathon dressed to look like a scuba diver, and the 2005 dressed as a Cyberman!
