Robert Bain is a chartered engineer who advises institutional investors on international toll road acquisitions. He started his career in transportation consultancy before moving into financial services and joining the credit rating agency Standard & Poor's. In 2007 he established his own firm, RBconsult, and today works as an independent consultant and expert witness (litigation and arbitration). Rob is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Chartered Institute of Credit Management. He is a Visiting Research Fellow and part-time lecturer at the University of Leeds.
