Jo Beverley is one the few authors writing historical romances set in England who is actually English. She was born and raised there and has a degree in English history from Keele University. Beverley has written 40 romance novels, has won five RITA Awards, and has earned a place in the RWA Hall of Fame. For a time, she and her husband emigrated to Canada, but they have since returned home. They have two sons.
