Bobbi Kelly taught high school art in Mountain Home for many years before retiring and moving to Moscow, Idaho, where she resides with her daughter, Sandra, and their devoted dog, Holly. She is an active member of the Idaho Watercolor Society and the Palouse Watercolor Society, and teaches adult painting classes as well as doing volunteer art projects with elementary students. Bobbi enjoys painting local and regional scenes of interest, in a style she thinks of as "casual realism". "Illustrating Jennifer's children's books is definitely a change of pace from my usual watercolor subject matter," Bobbi says, "but one which is both creatively demanding and delightful."
