His quest for authenticity led him to run with the bulls in Pamplona, chase tornadoes across Texas and Oklahoma, go cage shark diving in South Africa, and get tear gassed in La Paz. He has also chased black witches in Mexico and went into the Amazon to undergo ayahuasca ceremonies with Peruvian shamans.
