Margaret Bennett-Hall lives and breathes music. A professional musician, she is trained in classical piano and flute, sound engineering, and plays a variety of instruments. She has gigged both locally and internationally with other musicians from duos to a 30-piece band. For many years she has also taught music to youngsters so that they too can experience the magic of playing music - not just listening to music - but creating the sound themselves. Margaret wrote the Fun in the Music Room books to encourage children to explore various musical instruments and to help parents understand the educational advantages that studying music provides. She silently thanks her mother every day for making her do her piano practice. She loves to share the gift of music - it lasts a lifetime.
