Stewart St John is an award-winning writer, producer, composer, multimedia pioneer and filmmaker. Growing up he loved to tell stories to his brother, sisters and cousins and later began his professional career writing animated series at Hanna-Barbera, where he was put under contract by company founder Joe Barbara (creator of THE FLINTSTONES) who became Stewart's mentor. While at H-B, Mr. Barbera also encouraged Stewart to pursue his musical talent and he composed his first television song for an episode of TOM & JERRY KIDS. Stewart went on to write and produce some of the most beloved children and family-friendly properties seen around the world - 50 episodes of MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS, SABRINA THE ANIMATED SERIES, Marvel's INCREDIBLE HULK, INSPECTOR GADGET, Disney's SEVENTEEN AGAIN and more. In 2017 Stewart adapted his #1 iTunes podcast series THE SECRET DIARIES OF TARA TREMENDOUS into a stage musical, and co-composed 20 original songs with his music partner Michael Plahuta. The show was performed as a live musical concert at 54 Below in NYC, starring Micky Dolenz (The Monkees), MiMi Ryder (Matilda The Musical), Annie Golden (Netflix' Orange Is The New Black) and a host of other Broadway stars who also recorded the cast album. Stewart is now creating his own stable of exciting new characters, including the girl-power TARA TREMENDOUS franchise, the educational series RYDER THE WRITER, and supernatural SPOOKY TROOP series and many more.
