Allie has been writing fiction since she could hold a pencil. She studied English Literature at Birmingham University and did an MA at Queen Mary College, London. She has been a print buyer, a pub landlady, a bookkeeper and the proprietor of a group of boutique holiday cottages, but now writes full time. She lives in Cumbria, NW of the UK
