John W. Miller participated in the formation and growth of the Reba Place Fellowship in Evanston, Illinois--a house church in the Anabaptist-Mennonite tradition. The Christian Way was developed initially as a study resource for those seeking membership in this Christian fellowship. The author received his graduate education in theology at Princeton Theological Seminary and the University of Basel and also holds a Master's Degree in English Literature from New York University. He has taught at the Mennonite seminaries in Goshen and Elkhart, Indiana, and at North Park and Garrett Theological Seminaries in the Chicago area. For a four-year period he served as Director of Mental Health Rehabilitation Services at the Chicago State Hospital. In the fall of 1969 he joined the faculty of Conrad-Grebel College, an affiliate of the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Ontario.
