Deepak Sharma is a senior data scientist with more than 8 years of experience in building data mining systems for a variety of applications and domains including manufacturing, automotive, e-commerce and enterprise software. He has delivered critical machine learning applications for machine failure prediction, vehicle health monitoring, driver behavior scoring and network threat detection and has lead multiple consulting assignments on data science and analytics.
Deepak graduated from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai with a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering in 2005 and University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a Masters in 2010.
His work history includes the likes of Applied Materials, Lenovo, Robert Bosch, and Noodle Analytics. He is currently working for Clustr, leading a team of data scientists and software developers to build an application with deep natural language understanding capabilities.
