James Charlton was a member of the Northern Beach Writers Group in Sydney. He wrote half hour radio plays which were broadcast on his local radio station. The Adventures of Andy Aardvark is his debut book. His granddaughter, Noni Charlton helped to create the Aardvark character at aged nine. He lives in London and New Zealand.
