SHARON DANIELS is a member of the shareholder group that founded Arria NLG. Sharon has over thirty years of experience in strategic business development and has consulted with leading global technology and financial service companies. Sharon is also a founder of Diligent Corporation and served on the Diligent board through 2010, where she also held an executive position as chief marketing officer.
Prior to joining Diligent, Sharon was a vice president at the US-based company PaperDirect, Inc., where she was instrumental in helping grow the business from a start-up to over $100 million in sales in less than four years. Getting comfortable with computers and technology began in the early '80s when Sharon cofounded Computer Discount of America, a pioneer in the computer mail order industry, at the early age of twenty-six.
Sharon is chairman and CEO of Arria NLG Limited. She also chairs Arria's Global Advisory Council of respected leaders who bring subject matter expertise from multiple industries (banking, financial services, insurance, consumer goods, pharma, oil and gas, and sports) to influence Arria's technology. This innovative group includes Arria's chief scientists Dr. Ehud Reiter and Dr. Yaji Sripada.
Sharon is a Forbes Technology Council member and has published articles including "How NLG Technology Can Provide Comfort in a Changing World," and "Giving Machines the Power of Language While Keeping Humanity at the Heart of AI." Sharon has been featured in multiple industry publications as a thought leader, including the New York Times.
