KELLY CORYELL grew up on a farm in Southern, Oregon in a family of seven sisters and one brother where there was almost never a bedtime without a story. She continued the tradition with her five children, imparting life lessons through her "chicken" stories. They loved the stories, so she decided to put them into print and share her "Little Purple" stories with children everywhere.
