Alanna Nash is the author of ten books, including The Colonel: The Extraordinary Story of Colonel Tom Parker and Elvis Presley. She has written about music and culture for such publications as Vanity Fair, People, Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, and The New York Times. Among her honors are a Country Music Association Media award, the Chet Flippo Award for Excellence in Country Music Journalism, two Belmont Book Awards, and two Charlie Lamb Awards for Excellence in Country Music Journalism.
