John Dale is the author of seven books including the campus novel 'Leaving Suzie Pye', which was translated into Turkish, and a novella Plenty. His best-selling true-crime biography 'Huckstepp' was the winner of a Ned Kelly award, as was the first of his three crime novels. He has also published 'Wild Life', a memoir of his grandfather, and edited three anthologies, including the recent 'Sydney Noir'. He is a Professor of Writing at UTS.
