William Yang is Australia's leading social photographer. He is also the author of Sydney Diary and, most recently, Patrick White: The Late Years. Sadness: The Book is to be launched at the Melbourne Festival
with William's new show The North, the sequel to Sadness, which is based on the sell-out show that has been touring nationally and internationally since 1994. Most recently William performed Sadness in the United States for World Aids Day 1995.
