Stephen Deutsch is a composer with over forty scores for film, television, and the theatre as well as numerous concert works. He is also the author of televisions plays, two of which are on the subject of music and were broadcast by the BBC. His theatre music includes the RSC's Olivier Award winning Red Noses by Peter Barnes. He was born in New York, and has lived in the UK for over forty years.
