Geshe Michael is a graduate of Princeton University and the first American to be awarded the degree of Geshe, or "Master of Philosophy" from a Tibetan Buddhist monastery, after 20 years of training. He is the author of "The Diamond Cutter," an international business bestseller, about how he used ancient Asian principles to help start a $200 million business to help the poor. He currently serves as CEO of Diamond Cutter Institute, which teaches management and personal success training to about 35,000 people worldwide every year.
