Award-winning author Tanya Michls moved around a lot during her childhood, but her favorite location remained the same-between the pages of a good book! She tried to make the jump from avid reader to author during eighth-grade algebra, but her math teacher insisted Tanya stop writing stories in class and actually listen. Over the years that followed, Tanya substantially improved her writing techniques, if not her ability to solve for X. In 2003 she made her Harlequin Books debut with a romantic comedy that was nominated for numerous awards including Romance Writers of America's prestigious RITA Award. Since then, she has sold more than 20 books and currently writes warmhearted, family-oriented stories for Harlequin American Romance. Tanya lives in Georgia with her own family-a patient husband who doesn't mind that she "hears voices," and two small children who are already avid readers.
