Belinda Hollyer was born in New Zealand and has also lived and worked in Australia and the United States. She has worked as a teacher, a librarian, and a publisher. Now a full-time writer, she has written and compiled a number of books for adults and children, including She's All That! Poems About Girls and the award-winning Kingfisher Book of Family Poems.
