Polly Horvath is the award-winning author of many books for children and young adults. The recipient of a Newbery Honor, she has won the National Book Award, the Vicky Metcalf Award, and the Toronto-Dominion Children's Literature Award, among others. Her books have been New York Times and Publishers Weekly bestsellers, as well as Rosie O'Donnell and Oprah picks, and are taught in classrooms around the world. She lives in British Columbia.
