Bopaya M. Bidanda is the Ernest Roth Professor and chair of the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh, PA. He currently serves as the president of the Institute of Industrial & Systems Engineers (IISE). He has also served as a commissioner with the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC of ABET) and has consulted with a broad range of industries across the world. His research focuses on manufacturing systems, reverse engineering and rapid prototyping, and project management. Bidanda has published 12 books and over 100 papers in international journals and conference proceedings.
