Andrew Chapman was involved in the early days of canal restoration from the mid 1970s and now retired, lives on a narrowboat in Ripon and tours the canal system every summer. The idea for Rescue Rosie came about when he was cruising and rescued a broken down boat in 2016. The book is illustrated by Sarah Hoggard.
