Michaela Morgan has been a writer since childhood. Her many books include fiction and non-fiction for children, as well as poetry, and her poems appear in multiple classic anthologies. She is the author, with Liz Brownlee and Jan Dean, of CLiPPA-shortlisted Reaching the Stars: poems about extraordinary women and girls, and she edited and contributed to Wonderland: Alice in Poetry. She is much in demand for her readings and workshops, which encourage children to make and perform their own poems.
