Rakesh is an Adjunct Faculty at IIM Bangalore where he teaches communication at the MBA and Exec Ed programs. Rakesh has authored three books. His latest book "What to Say and When to Shut Up!" was released in November 2014. Prior to academia, Rakesh worked in the corporate sector in various roles with Wipro, Intel and Qualcomm. He left the corporate sector in 2008 to pursue his passion in teaching and writing. He is currently pursuing his PhD on Leadership Communication from Cardiff Metropolitan University UK. His research interests is on how some speeches make more impact than others and the role of communication in leadership.
