Canadian Michael Jones is a leadership educator, composer, and pianist as well as a writer, storyteller, community engagement facilitator, and speaker. Michael brings a unique perspective to the subject of leadership. While others write about style process or technique Michael illuminates in a deeply personal way the close parallels between leadership and the creative process. Michael is the author of three books, including; Creating an Imaginative Life: Following the Songline of the Heart(1995, 2006) Artful Leadership, Awakening the Commons of the Imagination (2006,2019) and The Soul of Place, Re-imagining Leadership Through Nature, Art and Community ( 2015. ) As a Juno (Canadian Grammy) nominated pianist/composer Michael has often been described as an evocative musical painter who enchants his listeners with musical improvisations at the piano. Michael is the founding artist of Narada Productions where he composed and produced fifteen successful recordings of his original piano compositions. He has been a guest performer, speaker, and facilitator at leadership forums throughout North America and internationally for over the past forty years.
