Dr. Kevin T. Wayne has been an entrepreneur, intrapreneur, medical device industry executive, independent director on a publically-traded company's board of directors, business consultant, scholar, and full-time management academic. He publishes, presents, and engages in research on a variety of management-related phenomena. Wayne teaches undergraduate and graduate level management courses including principles of management, advertising and promotion management, sports & entertainment marketing, market research, principles of marketing, entrepreneurship, and marketing & new product development. He has earned -Best Reviewer- from the Institute of Behavioral and Applied Management and was chosen for the Region I Teaching Excellence award for the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). He raised over $20 million of venture capital and has presided over numerous new product introductions in the medical device industry. He is uniquely qualified to research and write about entrepreneurship, product development, strategy, competitiveness, general management, and board governance. He regularly attends academic and entrepreneurially-focused meetings, such as the Northeast Business & Economics Association Conference, Society for Business Research Meeting, Medical Device Group Boston meetings, and MIT Venture Forums.
