Brenna Hassett is an archaeologist and anthropologist who researches the history of childhood. As a lecturer at the University of Central Lancashire and a Scientific Associate at the Natural History Museum London, she splits her time between rural Lancashire, London and different archaeological projects around the world in places such as Greece, Turkey, Egypt and Thailand. She is the author of the 2016 Times UK Top 10 Science book Built on Bones: 15,000 Years of Urban Life and Death and Growing Up Human: The Evolution of Childhood for adults, and is the voice of science for Totally Chaotic History: The Stone Age Runs Wild!, the (pre)-history book for kids by Greg Jenner.
