In her greatest role to date as an Author, Kelly has published picture story and YA thriller novels worldwide, which evoke thought and positive change addressing world issues and mental health journeys. Her varied role has seen her teach all subject areas from Prep to Year 12. She now works as an Author, Educational Consultant in her own business, Wings for Grace and Author Podcast Presenter. Her energy and positive nature combined with her expert teaching skills, will provide your school or community event with a fantastic experience that children and adults will remember, well into the future.Kelly has a passion for teaching & sharing her knowledge with others, which has been reflected in the variety of roles she has held during her career so far. Watching her students learn & grow in all aspects of their life - from academic skills to life & socials skills - is one of her greatest rewards. Kelly is a master at engaging and captivating groups, and inspiring audiences of all ages with her entertaining and motivating sessions. Kelly's kind and friendly demeanour, ensures students learn and develop skills at any level.During her varied career, Kelly has facilitated numerous workshops educating parents & teachers on the strategies, skills & values of literacy. She has also worked with Cardinia Shire Council in Victoria on various literacy projects. Kelly has also filmed literacy education videos for the Department of Education that have been distributed worldwide. Kelly continues to be a passionate and successful children's and YA author. Kelly has two picture story books titled Lady Lulu (nominated for the Children's Book Council of Australia Awards 2023) and Hudson Houdini Escapologist Extraordinaire. Her three Young Adult novels titled Breathe Grace (Nominated for the Miles Franklin 2023 award and two NSW Premier's Literacy awards 2023), The shadows in my mind, and Where the Driftwood meets the Sand, continue to attract very positive reviews. She is currently working on her forth YA novel, Vita Mia, due for release at the end of 2024.
