The Science Club follows a group of science-mad kids who meet at a club where they learn about science through their own experiences and discoveries. For example, at one club someone brings in a fossil, leading to an investigation into the rock cycle, dinosaurs and fossil formation. Each story features sweet, humorous illustrations and includes simple experiments for readers to try for themselves.
It's the end of the day at the Science Club and Emily is startled by a spooky shadow! The Science Club start investigating their latest topic - light - what it is, where it comes from and how we use it to see. They also discover what reflections are, how shadows are made and why rainbows form in the sky. They round off their project by making a fun shadow puppet theatre.
