This book should have been perfect. It’s got plenty of Greek mythology references (the name, the poems, everything), its poetry (which I read lots of these days), and the poems have some really fantastic titles. But it really let me down! 

I felt like most of the poems were just words strung together without any thought for their meaning. 

Of course, I'm just one person and it looks plenty of others liked this collection. Which is fine and good for them. This just wasn't it for me.
