These poems explore and express emotional depths of familial bonds, memory, resiliency and transformation. Written with minimalistic words and structure, they layer emotions, ideas and word-images. Nature's solacing power winds throughout the poems that are more about exultations than expirations. They were written during a severe illness and subsequent death of a loved one and are presented in mostly chronological order. The author is an art therapist, visual artist, poet and educator.
