The Offer is a fast paced, angsty romance where even the most unlikely pair can come together.
Jake has gotten himself in trouble with the tabloids for his anger issues and been labelled the "bad boy of rugby". The rugby team he plays for has informed him to fix his image or he is done with the organization.
Victoria is trying to move on from a horrible decision and get some independence from an overbearing mother. She ends up moving into her brother's place in London.
When Ethan comes up with a plan for them to fake a relationship to get the tabloids and the society papers to see them as a couple and have everyone leave them both alone, they agree since they are complete opposites and things should be easy.
I enjoyed the extended edition of The Offer as it gave us so much more since the anthology edition felt like it left their relationship wide open to interpretation. Jake and Victoria were like fire and ice. They tried so hard to fight their attraction to each other that they were icy to each other but once they gave in to their urges they burned like a firing inferno. I hope that we get more from the London Hawks in the future.

The Offer is about a grumpy rugby player trying to repair his image and a jilted bride who is trying to get her overbearing mother off her back about trying to find the right man.
Jake gets himself in tabloid trouble and is told he needs to repair his image or be kicked off the rugby team. Victoria's mother is trying to pressure her to find the perfect man, in her eyes. Ethan, Victoria's brother, comes up with an offer to have them help each other.
A hot and steamy quick read that leaves you wanting so much more from Jake and Victoria. A bad boy and a society girl, a true opposites attract. Jake is the perfect bad boy and I loved how they realized it did not matter your status that attraction is all that matters. There are plans for this to be extended in the future and I can not wait.
The Offer is part of the Love is in the Air Anthology
